Stop queer theory in schools

Many parents are shocked by the content of school textbooks that convey to children and young people how to understand their own gender in a new and radically wrong way. Gender is to be felt, experienced and expressed, and the one who experiences their gender in a certain way becomes the gender that is experienced and felt.

All 4th grade science textbooks published after 2021 teach young children that they can be a boy, a girl, both, something in between, or neither. It's not scientific, it's biologically wrong, and for parents who practice a faith, this new teaching is not theological either.

The new doctrine is called “queer theory”, where the concept of “gender identity” has been introduced into Norwegian legislation, state action plans and now also in our children’s school books. Children are easily influenced, and the sequence and time from changing clothes to pronouns and then demands for irreversible medical treatment can pass quickly. Now we need parents to raise their voices and join in reversing this new heresy about gender in schools.

Your child - your responsibility

Your child grandson - your responsibility

This critical exposure of queer theory in textbooks has revealed that Norwegian schoolchildren as young as 8 years old are taught that they can be any gender or «gender identity» they want. The findings show that all publishers are scientifically wrong about gender from the 4th grade onwards:

  • Publishers convey to young children that they can be a boy, a girl, both, something in between, or neither. This is conveyed uncritically and is directly unscientific, and is thus a violation of the Education Act §1-1.

  • Our findings documents that the interest organization Fri (which is the main organizer of Pride) has held training meetings with publishers, has entered into knowledge agreements with teachers' and education unions, and Fri has lobbied for "gender identity" to be included in the curriculum and textbooks.

  • One small organization seems to have been given the power to redefine gender for the entire society. Parents must take their responsibility: Demand change and a public cleanup.

Raise awareness about children's right to a neutral school environment

Indoctrination of children can be harmful and lead to one-sided thinking and limited perspectives. Therefore, it is important to be aware of what is being communicated to our children and how it is being communicated. Children should be given the opportunity to explore and learn in a neutral and open way, without any particular ideologies or views being forced upon them.

Can new teachings about gender be flagged as indoctrination?

Children as young as 8 years old are given textbooks that turn reality upside down. Indoctrination is a powerful concept and must be used with caution as, according to Great Norwegian Encyclopedia is about changing people's attitudes and perceptions through systematic influence. But exactly the same words are in the teacher's guide for 3rd-4th grade in the chapter on gender and gender identity: "See if there is a change in thoughts and attitudes after reviewed theme"»

Worth knowing

Parents and society in general must be aware of what is being taught in school!

?

From the 3rd to 4th grade, publishers introduce a new teaching about gender to Norwegian schoolchildren. The publishers convey to the children that their way of expressing gender, their personality and their sense of who they are, is their gender identity. Gender identity is explained to children under 8 years old that it is about "hairstyle, toys and what you do can show whether you are a boy or a girl, both or neither."«

Children are no longer given the opportunity to be themselves. They are taught to think that everything they do, think, like and express is their gender identity. Never before have new gender roles been introduced and communicated uncritically in such a narrow way within a completely new conceptual apparatus from queer theory.
Gender is redefined for all children by a very small interest group.

What Cappelen-Damm and Gyldendal have in common is that they have conducted meetings with the association FRI – the Association for Gender and Sexual Diversity and Rosa Kompetanse on the topic of "gender identity". While Aschehough has hired the former deputy leader of FRI as the author of the school books that introduce gender identity. The source for gender identity and queer theory
comes from the same political interest organization and is based on philosophical ideas called "norm criticism" and "queer theory".

Queer theory is not presented in textbooks in a pluralistic way, but as a new, more modern truth that disregards gender, femininity, masculinity and personality. Instead, children learn about gender identities with many new and narrower gender roles than male and female. These new gender categories are supposed to represent individual inner experiences and feelings that children have. Children learn that only they themselves have the right to define themselves, only they know who they are. The origin of gender identity can be found in a video here.

Children's right to a scientific and fact-based education must be protected from political and ideological influence. Otherwise, we facilitate the indoctrination of queer theory in schools.

Here you can see a recommended video for 8 and 9 year olds taken from Aschehough's teacher guide.

The Education Act is clear that students should learn critical and scientific thinking. The textbooks' dissemination of "gender identity" violates the Education Act §1-1.
